IDeal / Security & privacy

Trust starts with clear boundaries.

Identity checks, participant-only access and recorded decisions support every agreement. Understand who can see your information and when.

In detail

Know who participates

People submit identity documents through authenticated uploads. The IDeal team reviews submissions and can approve, reject or request another submission. A verification badge describes the review status; it is not a guarantee of a counterparty’s conduct.

  • Reviewed identity status
  • Resubmission when a document is unclear
  • Verification is required for creation and public joining

Private access, with recorded oversight

Accepted participants can access their deal discussion and private attachments. Invited or unrelated users do not gain that access automatically. Dispute evidence requires the parties’ consent, with narrowly authorized, audited policy and administrator reviews.

  • Deal messages stay with accepted participants
  • Private files use authorized, time-limited links
  • Administrative inspection is controlled and audited

Keep the approved record

The approved version becomes read-only and remains linked to its history. Structured contracts carry an integrity hash, and the archive records the terms and decisions. A visual mark on a PDF is separate from the approval workflow.

  • Read-only approved terms
  • Version and decision history
  • No claim of legal validity in every jurisdiction
